The Epstein Files: They Only Released Half

The DOJ says its review of the Jeffrey Epstein case is “over”, but here’s what’s getting less attention. Of roughly 6 million pages of Epstein-related files, the Department of Justice released only about 3 million, roughly half, after Congress subpoenaed the documents and passed an Epstein Files Transparency Act. Democrats on the House Oversight Committee have accused the administration of a cover-up for withholding the rest. Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, who led the release, said the reviewed material, including emails and photos, wasn’t enough to bring new charges against any co-conspirators, and that there was no hidden “secret list.” He also admitted the DOJ “failed” by releasing some victims’ names and personal information unredacted, retraumatizing survivors. Half the files remain unreleased. The question a lot of people are asking: what’s in the other half? Here are the facts. #epstein #epsteinfiles #doj #news #politics
