The U.S. Justice Department has released an initial tranche of long-awaited documents linked to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, following a law passed by Congress mandating their release by December 19.
The files include photos, videos, and investigative material — many of them heavily redacted. Several high-profile figures are referenced in the documents, including former U.S. President Bill Clinton, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, and musicians Mick Jagger and Michael Jackson.
U.S. President Donald Trump is also mentioned, with court documents alleging Epstein introduced a 14-year-old girl to Trump at his Mar-a-Lago resort — allegations Trump has previously denied.
According to CBS, more than 550 pages were fully redacted, including entire sections related to a grand jury investigation.
