Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to flag off India’s first-ever Hydrogen-powered train, named the ‘Namo Green Train’, on the Jind-Sonipat route in Haryana on July 17. Ditching traditional diesel and electricity, this eco-friendly train runs entirely on advanced Fuel Cell Technology (Hydrogen), ensuring zero pollution and significantly lower operational costs. Indigenously developed by the Integral Coach Factory (ICF) Chennai, this train places India in an elite global club alongside Germany and China.
