I’m at the House Oversight Committee on May 29, 2026, on Capitol Hill, where former Attorney General Pam Bondi is testifying behind closed doors about the DOJ’s handling of the Epstein files — and Epstein survivors are standing in the hallway outside holding up investigative leads the government never pursued.

Here’s what you need to know: this isn’t even a formal deposition. After Bondi was fired by Trump, Oversight Chair James Comer downgraded the terms of her appearance. She is not under oath. This is not being videotaped. She can say whatever she wants in that room with no legal consequences.
Inside, Bondi is reportedly blaming Todd Blanche — her former deputy and now acting Attorney General — for the redaction failures. She says she delegated oversight of the entire Epstein files release process to him.
Outside, survivors are holding up documents showing investigative leads that can still be pursued. People who can still be held accountable.
The survivors are still doing the work the DOJ refused to do.
